Will We Lose Our Booked FP+

What a mess! I have a large family trip booked. As it turns out, we no longer need one of the rooms because my sister & hubby who live in Tampa decided they are not going to come for the week but will rather drive to Orlando to join us in the parks for a couple of the days. We have space to absorb my neice and newphew in another rooom. They were originally in my sister's room. Two questions related to the cancelling of the room. First, can I transfer my niece and nephew's FP+s to the new room or will they be lost? Second, is there a way to keep two days of booked FP+ for my sister and hubby for the days they joins us? Actually I have a third question; she booked one of the group dining reservations. Will that be lost along with the booked FP+s when the rooom is cancelled? We are about 42 days out. TIA!

Your niece and nephew's FPs are connected to their tickets, not their room. ADRs aren't connected to the room, either. I'm not sure about your sister and her husband's FPs though.

Fastpasses are linked to the MDE accounts not to the room. Their fp's will not be lost when they switch rooms as long as they share a fp with someone whose room is not cancelled. For example, if your family is sharing fp's with your sister's family, like all of you are riding Space mountain at 10am on Tuesday, then the fp will remain. Your fp's will serve as an umbrella over their fp's. For example, I can make fastpasses for my son-in-law who doesn't have a room reservation as long I include him with my fp's. But he can't make fp's until 30 days out if he wants to go on a different ride.

Second, is there a way to keep two days of booked FP+ for my sister and hubby for the days they joins us?
Make sure that your sister and hubby have the exact same fp's as your family and it will be fine.

Dining reservation are not tied to resort reservations. They are tied to an MDE account and anyone can make them. They won't lose the ADR when they cancel the room. :)

As long as the niece and nephew didn't have ticket packages, they won't lose the FP+ reservations when they get moved over.
