Will we have trouble with evening extended hours?

Hi all! The day we check OUT of a deluxe hotel, evening extra hours are taking place in Magic Kingdom. That night, we check IN to a moderate hotel. Will we have any trouble with extended evening hours? I'm wondering when we scan, will we be considered moderate guests instead of deluxe guests? TIA!

You will be fine. EEH include full day the day you check in and check out of a deluxe resort.

You will not have a bus to your moderate resort at the end of EEH, so you will need to drive or take a Lyft/Minnie van/etc.

We were there last week and checked OUT of Pop Century and into the Polynesian on Monday, which was late night Epcot. When she scanned our bands it showed up with Pop Century as our resort instead of the Poly. We had to show on MDE that it had both resorts for Monday. You should be fine checking out of deluxe out that day.

Going to be doing the same but Swan hotel to moderate which I am sure will cause it's own separate problems

Hoping this goes smoothly with the extended hours I suspect it will have it's own problems.

The problem we had on checkout day, was that MK was open until 1 AM and our reservation disappeared at midnight! So after midnight we had to explain anytime we wanted to do an attraction.

So I am thinking of adding a day to my trip. Currently staying at WL & checking out on a Wed which if schedule stays consistent extra late hours would be on a Wed evening for MK.
So if I decide to add a day, I would probably stay at Pop or another less expensive hotel for Wed. night. Will I still be able to attend MK late evening with my WL checkout on same day?

Yes although you may need to show proof that you were staying at WL the previous night as some have reported their new resort appearing so it making them look like they're not eligible even though they are.
