Next week, we are arriving on our first trip in the post-DME era. We used the Mears private transportation service last year as a trial run and really appreciated the quick, door-to-door service. We chose them again for this trip, but our plans are a little different. Here is the scoop...
We are a party of 6, all arriving on the same flight, but we are staying at 2, different resorts. We booked our luxury van as a charter, meaning we have 2 hours from time of pickup to make the drop offs. We need to go to All-Star Music and AKV-Kidani. The reservation is already noted that our destination is AKV with a stop at ASMu so that's not an issue. Here's where my timing question comes in to play....we have a dinner reservation for the 6 of us at Boma. The original plan was to tell our driver upon pickup to simply skip the stop at ASMu and just head straight to AKV. My friends could drop their bags in our room (or at bell services) at AKV while we all eat dinner and then they could Uber over to ASMu when they are done. Then, I realized that since there is already a stop planned at ASMu anyways, maybe we should just stop there and let them drop their bags at their room on the way to AKV. Then they don't have to worry about it after dinner. My concern is that they may not have time to "run" to their room, drop them off, get back to the van and then on to AKV.
Will 2 hours be enough to ....
...drive to ASMu...
...head straight to room and drop off luggage...
...get back to van...
...drive to AKV-Kidani for final drop off....
...make it to Boma by 8:30pm?
Or should we stick to our original plan of heading straight to AKV?
Of Note...
* SWA Flight lands at 6:35pm (been tracking it for the past 3 weeks, and so far, it has not been more than 10 minutes late, with the exception of Ian)
*No checked bags, only carry-on
*All adults, no kids, no mobility issues
