Yes, just call DCL to have the request added to your reservation. UNLESS you used a TA to book your cruise. Then the TA will need to call and have the request placed on the reservation.

I did ask my TA right after I read your post but she still has replied to me. I'm not having the best TA experience. I wish I could call directly.

You could give it a try. Some people have reported some success calling directly (even with a TA). But they could say "no, your TA must do this"

My Dad and I have sailed as 2 many times. We have requested a table alone 2 out of 4 cruises. The 2 cruises we requested, we got the table alone. One of the cruises we didn't request, Disney gave us a table alone without asking. The other time, we were at a 6-top table with 2 couples + my Dad and I. 3 of the 4 cruises, we booked late enough that we were scheduled for late dining, but I have always changed to the early seating when we board the ship. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. My Dad and I are on a cruise this summer and we requested a table alone at the early seating. We will see if that request is granted.
