Will we have enough time? Worried about

not making it after reading a post below. Our plane leaves at 6:30 a.m....I do not expect any delays that early. Our plane arrives there at 9:30 and we are taking magical express to Wilderness Lodge. We have a 1:30 reservation at Grand Floridian for the Wonderland Tea Party. This is our big event for the arrival day. That seemed like plenty of time when I made that reservation. I should have asked the experts here!

From experience I learned not make specific plans the first day.
As an example, my sister was visiting here last week and her original flight was cancelled. (And she had an early flight too.) She arrived 7 - 8 hours later than originally expected.
Have Plan B in place just in case.

I would think you'll be fine. If your plane lands at 9:30 AM, and even if it would take 2 hrs to get to the hotel (which it should NOT), that puts you getting to the hotel at 11:30 AM. Still plenty of time to make it to the Grand Floridian. If you would happen to be cutting it close, maybe one of you can take DD to the GF, while the others check in at WL. Then you can meet up at GF.

When my DD does the tea, we usually have lunch at the GF Cafe. Such a relaxed restaurant! When the tea is over, I go get DD and bring her back to our table!

Have a great trip - and relax - I think you'll have more than enough time to get to the tea!!!!

I agree!! I feel that is plenty of time (unless your plane gets delayed)!! I say go for it!! It's really probably too late to change the time anyway, so what's the harm in at least trying to make it!!

I think you'll have enough time
Our plane leaves at 7am, lands at 945am. We're staying the beginning of our vacation at VWL. DS13 & I have a PS lunch at Whispering Canyon at 1pm. When ME drops us off if we have time we'll checkin first, if not we'll turn around and have lunch first. (Maybe I'll excuse myself and go checkin after the lines quiet down).

If you're within a hr of the Tea Party Id get her over there and checkin after.
