Will We Get A Gift With The New Planner

Was wondering if "gifts" are usually sent when members receive the new planners?

I was wondering something similar, we joined last year and just missed the cut off for the Giclee. I didn't know if things like that were anuall or just was due to the 15th year celebration.

The planner is a book that has all of the information on point costs, and season dates for your DVC points.

Little "gifts" come occationally from DVC, but not necessarily with the planner. Last year the giclee was a special 15th anniversary of DVC gift. At this point, the new planner would be gift enough for me!

I wouldn't expect anything like the Giclee this year...it was for the 15 year anniversary. A while after the Giclee gift, we got the "executive postcard" set (nothing to write home about, though...and pun totally intended! ) I don't think that gifts are tied to the planners.

I think DVC gifts are a thing of the past since DVC is too large now. I don't see them spending the money x 100,000+.

True, but they do have $$ in sales and dues and some interest from 100,000+ members.

Any gifts should come out of the sales and promotions budget, not member dues.

Dues pay for the operating costs of the resort and nothing else!
