will we fit in the booths at sci-fi

i am traveling with a party that includes several robust persons. we range from pleasantly plump to downright big! will we be able to fit in the booths at the sci-fi diner? if you had trouble fitting and son't mind giving me a rough idea of who would fit and who wouldn't that would be great!

Im tiny myself but DH is 6 foot 2 and well..lets just say he wears a 3XLT . Hes " robust" as you put it (which I love that term lol) I had heard stories about guys having a hard time fitting in though which concerns me as we now have a dinner reservation scheduled. Hopefully we can get some info on this...thanks for starting this thread !

I have never been to the sci fi but I hear that there are supposedly flying saucer tables as well? can anyone verify?

My family loves the Sci Fi and we have no problems sitting in the cars. This last trip my family of 5 plus 2 other friends all sat together in one car.
To give you an idea of our sizes my DH is 6'6 and 295, I am avg. height and pooh size. My daughters are all around 5'8 - 5'9. My friends that were with us one was pooh size and the other petite. We were snug but not uncomfortable. Hope the Sci Fi works for you too.

There is always the option of a table that still looks like a car. But, honestly, the booths are bigger than they look.

thank you so much! i didn't even know tables were an option. i was wondering more about whether, a person with a big belly could slide in, than about how many could fit.

I don't fit into the booths at Sci Fi. I carry my weight around my middle and am pretty big. The first time I went they tried to seat us at a booth table and I politely declined and asked for another table. They sat us in the back at a picnic table that wasn't very comfortable. Now when we want to go to Sci Fi we request a half table/half car at the time of making the ADR and when we check in.
