Before I give my opinion, I want to say that with so many different tastes, you should go and experience it for yourself...nothing at Disney is a waste to me, it is all memories and now "I" know if it is something I would want to make more memories of...make sense?
That said, we would not make this a priority on another trip. We too were there on 12/25/07 and made it our Grand Gathering of 16 Christmas Dinner.
It starts with a picture of your party before you enter and while the pictures turned out nice (see below)....the photographer was a little agitated that we wanted a picture of the entire group and then our individual families (3 separate for a total of 4 pictures...no biggie) that set a tone that was not very Disney or Christmas like for me....Still I was excited for the show and FOOD!!. We had Group 2 seating and we were all at one long table that really left you no room to move...no way for the server to walk between our table and the ones behind us so we had to pass our dishes and drinks down the table...not a problem, just not what I expected.
Waitress must have drank the same "Crabby Juice" as the Photog (I know it is Christmas so they wanted to be home but does that mean I get the brunt of it?) she was not fun and added nothing to the evening.
The Food LOOKED great (see below) but I was disappointed...the ribs were soaked in BBQ sauce and the chicken was dry. I am NOT picky at all, I will eat just about anything but I went back to eating some salad and bread I kept before they stole it away prior to brining out the dinner platters.
The Dessert was the WORST in my opinion. A rasberry lava chocolate cake? I kept thinking,,,this is not it, there has got to be another option...but no, that was it. For 2 credits, I thought there should be at least another option?
The show was fun...not Academy Award winning or anything but still interesting and talented dancing. The Fire Dancer was great!!
That said, I will still remember it as a wonderful Christmas Dinner that I got to have in Disney World of all places!! Nothing is better!
Sorry if I sound like a spoiled brat but that is how our experience went. Still I recommend you try and see for yourself
