Will we be disappointed with BWV Standard View?

Hi everyone. We are planning our next trip, 11 nights at BWV! We're planning on getting 2 BoardWalk Standard Studios. We've stayed at the BWV twice, both times in Boardwalk View Two-Bedrooms. I'm a little concerned that we'll miss the view, but we don't have enough points to get the BW view (we don't want to have to borrow). The difference between the two is 48 points (we'd only have to borrow 16 points to get it). I just don't know what to think, LOL. Thanks.

We've had the standard view a number of times and thought they were fine. Each time our standard view was of the front entrance. Great people watching and the front is nicely landscaped. We also were able to see a lot of the high Illuminations fireworks.

I would think it would be ok. It would be nice to see different things each time. We went and had a preferred and looked at the swan. I would have thought it would have been a little bit different of a view. But of well. Everything else was great.

We had a sv 2 BR which overlooked the duck pond (retention pond), the canal, and had a nice view of ToT. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and had GREAT access (right down the stairs) to the exit to the Bus Stop.

We've had 2 standard views there, the one of the entrance and the one just described by New Yawka. They were both wonderful. I don't think you'll regret not having a preferred view at all. And, the point savings....... need I say more?

We liked the rooms across from the bus stop, upper floor, you get a pretty good view. You can see Illuminations at night, you can even hear the music! When Tapestry of Dreams used to run, we could hear that faintly too.

So far I have had one standard view and really enjoyed it. It was across from the bus stop and on the same level as the lobby. We were able to see high fireworks from Illuminations. It was also very peaceful on this side of the resort.

We also had a view of the canal with a water spray feature. I know that we were probably lucky, but I plan to reserve more standard views then BW Views. As long as I am on vacation, I don't think I would mind any view! (Well, maybe the dumpster view at VWL would bug me! )
