Were going to Disney the week following Thanksgiving...I was wondering is it typically warm enough to swim ?:confused3

TIA

Well... We were there last year the first two weeks in December and at first it was a little too cool, but later in the week it got up in the mid seventies low eighties! I say absolutely bring your swim wear along. You will most likely need it. Plus the pools are heated:)

We were there Dec 3-Dec 9. The water is heated to 83 degrees so they say:rotfl: . To me it did not feel that warm but the air was pretty cool. My kids and my husband lasted a little longer than I did. We tried it twice while on our trip. I say bring your swim stuff but keep in mind, it might be a tad chilly.

We've been there 3 times during that time period, and we have always been in the pool at least 2-3 days if not more. Pack your things and use them when you can.:)

We were there for Thanksgiving this year and found it to be too cold to even consider swimming with exception of 1 day, but we are used to South Alabama summers.

We will be there the same week and will definitely be planning to swim. The water is heated - just need a warm towel to get back to the room.

We swim just about any trip. But we are from New Hampshire so what is cold to a person from the south is pretty warm to us! In December it can be hit or miss - some days are warm and some are chilly. But the pools are heated.

We did first week in Dec and it was way too cold for us (at time NE'ers)
It was a quick trip so no disappointment, but seeing Disney staff in full blown red winter jumpsuits Lifeguards walking around pool, now that was worth the price of admission (AKL). :lmao:
By the way, we did see people in the water, not many, but some. :wizard:

When we stayed at the Cabins in '04 if was very warm. We didn't swim... we spent every waking second in the parks. But if we had wanted to we could have with NO prob!! :)

We were there last Thanksgiving (Sat before to Sat after) and it was WAY too cold to swim (for us) except for one day, and on that day my daughter and I got in for a bit but did not stay long. She begged everyday to get in, but you could see the steam rising off the pools and we were wearing coats, hats and gloves to the parks some days!!!! There were a few people swimming some days, none at all others. She was pretty disappointed. But I say take your swim gear, because you never know until the time comes if it will be warm enough then. From what I had read before we went, I thought we'd for sure get in more swimming than that, but it ended up being very cold there this year at Thanksgiving.
