Just wondering if anyone knows if DCL will cancel their cruises if we are at war with Iraq? If anyone knows the answer please respond. My wife and I are sailing on our 3rd DC, on april 12, 2003 and curious to know if this could happen.

I do not think DCL would cancel cruises if we went to war....unless passenger cruise ships were listed as a direct target. We are going on the 5/17 magic and I am just going to go with our lives and hope things don't get too out of control over in the middle east.

No, war will have no effect on the cruise. We have been in other wars and the cruise ships continued sailing.

they wouldnt dare

If I was the president of DCL I would be quite cautious of the wrath that I may incur should I do it a second time. I would be hiding in my bomb shelter calling it in on a secure non traceable phone line and praying for my family that they won't be hunted down!

We've pretty much been at war for almost 18 months now in
Afghanistan and they still sail. We were on Norwegian during the last Iraq war and everything was fine. Unless cruise ships are heading to the middle east I wouldnt worry much!
