Will Tom Sawyer Island Be Open?

I read on other posts that Tom Sawyer Island and surrounding areas will be closed due to Pirates Premier Party. Does anyone know if the Island will be open on May 8th and 9th? I had wanted to take my 3yr old granddaughter to Tom Sawyer Island.

I think I read somewhere it would be closed till the 12th? They are constructing a huge screen out there and I do not think it will be down in just one night when it is taking them a week to put up.

I understand everything around the ROA is closed until May 14.

smiles4stamps is correct. The Disneyland schedule has it posted to be closed through May 12th.

We are there next week and I hope it is opened too! I didn't see it on the refurb list, so I am assuming it will be open.

Tom Sawyer island is scheduled to be closed through May 12th, along with the Mark Twain, the Columbia, and the canoes. Hopefully it won't take that long, but doesn't look they could re-open it by the 9th. sorry. Fantasmic is scheduled to resume showing again May 14th.
