I want to see this movie and i want to see it on the cruise! lol what do you guys think?

I was just looking at the trailer! Yes, Disney usually premiers the new movies on the ships at the same time that they open in theaters. I want to see it too!

I am 100% sure that they will show it on the ships when it is released.

I want to see it, looks so cute! But wondering if it will be showing on our pixar california cruise in sept. since they are going to be showing all the pixar movies that week to, so hoping they still make time for the other new moveis as well. on the other hand we will have finding nemo 3d for sure :)

I hope it's on the ship it looks good, and I can't say that for many disney movies. Don't get me wrong I like Disney, but movies I'm not that into:cool1:

I wish Disney would post on their website what movies will be playing on the ship. There are a ton of movies that I've missed this summer that I would love to catch up on.

I think the only way to find out what's playing is to call Disney.

You can count on any new release that is produced by Disney or own of thier other companies (touchtstone is one) to the theater to be onboard. So all the summer releases related to Disney will be showing as the the release in theater. THey do not release a movie early.

The shorter cruises show less movies, but will have the most current ones, while the longer cruises will have movies that have been out from easily a year to more than a year old.

I am wondering the same thing about the special Pixar themed cruise...whether or not the fact that it is Pixar themed will limit the showing of non PIxar related things or not. Being that this is our first cruise (disney or otherwise) I dont have any "they always do this" expectations anyways but I am curious because this particular movie is one we would all love to see.

I called DCL today to find out what movies will be on the Wonder when we cruise on August 20th. The Odd Life of Timothy Green is on the list.

*Like* Thanks for calling ;-)

My in laws are treating us to this cruise so I am not in a position to be the one calling and asking direct questions myself ;-)

No problem! You can call though--the only info I gave them was the name of the ship and the week I am cruising. They didn't need my name or reservation number.

Someone from our cruise meet called DCL and confirmed that Fantasy sailing 8/11 will get the premEAR of the movie. :)

Did the give you the full lineup? We had hoped we would see The Avengers, but now fear it will have been replaced by this movie (which we also want to see, bt hoped for both ;). Thanks!

Yes, I asked for the full line-up and they were happy to give it to me...and speak slowly so I could write it all down. I specifically asked for movies playing on the Wonder the week of August 20th.

Brave
Chimpanzee Disney Nature
Cars2 in 2D and 3D
The Help
The Muppets
People Like Us
The Odd Life of Timothy Green
War Horse
John Carter in 2D and 3D
The Avengers

So I think you'll be in luck with The Avengers since you're the week after us.

Do they do anything special for the premieres? Like a Midnight showing? or is it just like going to see a regular movie on board. I'm hoping on the Sept 12th sailing they will be premiering finding nemo 3D since it opens on the 14th! :goodvibes

I was on the cruise for the premiere of wall-e and that night the show in the walt disney theater was the movie...it was a 2 week cruise so idk if tht has anything to do with it but yea it was cool

I'm on the Wonder a few weeks after you so I hope our line up of movies is similar to what you posted. I haven't seen any of the them. I need to watch Cars so I can catch the second one on the ship.

Is it possible to watch 8 movies in 6 days and still have time for other things?
