Will tickets be more expensive the closer we get to the trip?

Hi there -

We're leaving for Disney World in November and I'm just wondering if ticket prices will remain the same or do they increase as the trip gets closer? Is there any reason to buy them now as opposed to right before we leave?

The last 3 price increases for MYW Tickets happened in February (2014, 2015 & 2016). Typically, they don't increase MYW tickets multiple times during the year, but it has happened before.

If you mean do they operate like airlines where the closer you get to your travel dates, the higher the prices go, no, no worries about that. You only stand a chance if there is a price increase. Possible but not probable between now and Nov.

You can't book fastpasses until you have tickets, so you'll want to buy them before your fastpass date.

If you're staying on site you'll want to buy your tickets at least 60 days in advance so you can book the best FPs, or 30 days before if you're staying off site.
