Will this work?

We are currently booked for 10/7-10/16. That would put my 60 day fastpass ready to book on Monday morning at 7:00 am. The glitch in this well thought out plan is that school starts Monday morning as well. With it being the first day I have to be ready for children at 7:20 and DD needs to be at a friend's house for transportation. So all of this stresses me out.

My thought was to add a day to the front of my vacation so that we check in on 10/6. Then the fastpass window will be tomorrow instead of Monday. I would cancel that day a couple of days later so our dates start at 10/7 again. Will that work? Any downsides to doing this? Any help would be wonderful!!!

My understanding is that they no longer allow you to drop days off your reservation like that. I know last year when I tried, they had just changed the policy and were holding pretty firm on it. Not sure if that has changed any now that more time has passed.

What about booking a new reservation that begins a day earlier. Then cancelling that reservation in a couple days? The FP wouldn't fall off since she would have both tickets and a resort reservation in the 60 day window.

That sounds like a great plan. I would probably do that, unless her tickets are part of a package.

Unfortunately they are. Grrrr I guess I will get to school extra early to start the process and hope I have everything I need by the time I have children.
