Likely yes it will take a good portion of the day. Many of your selections are shows so they’re are offered at specific times which restricts how quickly you can move through the park. It won’t take ‘all day’ but a good portion of the day.

Agree. When are you going, and can you model the show schedule and order?
Plus, wait time for characters to appear next can be a factor.
Don't forget to eat :-)

We're going late September, 2026 but it will be a Sunday for DHS. as for eating plans are cake bake for breakfast, ale and compass for lunch, and brown derby for dinner w fantasmic pkg.

Assuming you are eating breakfast before starting your park day, are you familiar with the location of your lunch restaurant choice and how long it takes to get back and forth between Hollywood Studios and Yacht Club? Not just from the front of the park, but from a location inside the park where you'll be doing the things on your list? You will have to go through security and tap into the entry again. Not to mention, it's a bit of a walk to the boat or skyliner, and a much longer walk if going on foot. I ask this because you have a lot on your itinerary and a two hour plus lunch break might not be what you had in mind.

I wont be walking, we'll be on ecvs which might help. But I picked ale and compass because I didn't know what else to do, the only place that looks worth eating at after reading reviews is Brown Derby, which meant - getting food outside the park.

Did you consider qs if non of the TS options appeal? Getting back to YC is gonna be a pain for lunch, I’d be inclined to drop the expectation bar to save the transit hassle.

One trip I chose many out of park TS locations and was sorry I did because we spent so much time on transportation moving to and from dining locations. I agree with others that I would consider looking for QS locations inside the park rather than going to Ale and Compass for lunch. That's a lot of time, food and money in a very short amount of time. Personal choice but just sharing my thoughts.

Leaving DHS to eat lunch at Ale and Compass will take between two to three hours, but with all of the shows you want to see and characters to meet in DHS I would recommend having QS in the park which will take no more than 45 minutes to an hour. Moving between places, waiting in lines, shopping in stores...everything always takes more time than we anticipated.

If you really want to eat at Ale and Compass, go on the day you're at Epcot because the Yacht Club is close to the park's back entrance. We had a very good meal there, but even then I would not leave DHS midday.

Reviews are subjective. If something on a menu sounds interesting, I'd rather try it and decide for myself, rather than cross it off because others didn't like it. We've had disappointments, but also pleasant surprises. For this DHS day, I'd be willing to take the chance.
