Will they make us change rooms???

we are booking a week stay in April, at AKL Kidani, 1br Savannah view. We don't have enough points, so we are going to use our points for 5nights, and use Davids Rentals for 2 nights. All same resort, all same room category, and view. I understand there will be two reservation numbers, but will they force us to check out and change rooms? Also, what about magic bands?

Most likely, no. No moving. Put a notation on yours. And then mention it at check-in.

You can also get them linked for continuation, even though they are two different reservations. I have done so in the past. But that used to involve a three way phone call, not sure if that is still the rule. I wouldn't bother a stranger for such a thing.

Magicbands. You can choose two or decline the second. Doesn't matter because any of your bands can be programmed. Including those you have at home.

Agreed but you may have to check in again and there is the possibility of moving. Just have it noted on BOTH reservations and when you check in.

Hi all. Thank you for your quick responses! We actually decided to book a regular (non Dvc) room at The Wilderness Lodge for those first two days. So looks like we will definitely be moving, lol. Thanks again!!
