Will they cancel the ADRs I made at 180 days?

Hi! Okay, this is probably confusing, but there are two of us heading to Disney in September on Free Dining (yay! )... and I messed up on the reservations, I think....

Several months ago, we had called and made the reservation under person #1's name. Yesterday, when calling to make a free dining reservation, instead upgrading our reservation, I booked a new one to make sure it was what we wanted before canceling the old reservation (I had to make a few changes, so I wanted to confirm this was okay first) However, I totally spaced when giving details and the free dining reservation is now under my name, person #2.

So my question is, when I go to cancel that first reservation, will they cancel all the dining reservations I'd made in person #1s name because I made them at 180 days out and am no longer keeping that resort reservation? If so, is there an easy way to fix this, or do I need to try and change/re-reserve all those meals?

Don't worry about it! When you cancel the 1 reservation under the first person's name, the other reservations will not be affected. The ADRS are not connected to the actual resort reservation, so you are good there as well. If you want them all in the same name just call back and ask to switch it to the 1st persons name to make it easier on you to remember who is on which reservation!

Thanks, that makes me feel better!! I am usually good at keeping everything together and all in one name, so I had no idea what would happen since I'd mixed it up!

Booking the ADRs really has nothing to do with free dining. That only comes into play when you get to the restaurant so that they don't charge you. So, no worries.

Dining reservations aren't connected with resort reservations.
