Will these ADRs make our friends happy?

We've been to Disney in 2006 and 2007 with our soon to be six-year-old daughter. Next year our friends are joining us with their son of the same age. My friend is skeptical that she'll enjoy it. I tell her wait and see...

I want them to be happy. I thought this was well rounded for kids and adults.

With everyone's food issues and not wanting to repeat too many restaurants that we've tried, I've reserved the following in March:

Chef Mickey's Dinner
Le Cellier Dinner
Spoodles Dinner
Cinderella's Royal Table Lunch
O'hana Dinner
California Grill Dinner
Boma Dinner
Kona Cafe Dinner

I thought this had a good mix of things for kids and for adults. The only restaurant we're repeating from previous visits is California Grill which we LOVED last year.

What do you guys think?

Nice list...

We recently went with our 6 yo twins nephews and their 3 yo brother.
Just my thoughts, but I think Bomo might be a little 'exotic' for kids. Two places the kids loved were the Garden Grill for lunch and Cape May Cafe for breakfast. They also enjoyed O'hana dinner.

You're probably right about Boma. I think they have chicken fingers though which are always safe. I picked that one because my friend was really interested in staying at Animal Kingdom but we decided to go with Port Orleans. I thought she'd enjoy going there.

I think Boma would be fine for kids. Mine were 7 & 4 and really liked it when we were there. The adult food is a little more exotic than most places, but there's still a section of basic kid foods for the pickier eaters.

I think it looks like a really good mix!

The kids will at least like the dessert selections at BOMA. And there is fresh fruit and stuff like that. Our picky eaters always do well there while us adventurous types really enjoy the interesting "what the heck is that" dishes.

I think you've got some great choices there. We, too, are taking first time WDW friends in January and it was the most stressful planning I've ever done trying to make sure that the dining choices were well suited for them. I think I memorized ever WDW menu.

Hope you guys have a great time and your friends learn all about the magic.

I'm so impressed with how friendly and helpful everyone is on this board! I hope we spot some alien green mickey mouses when we're there so we can say hi. Thanks for the input you guys.

I think you have chosen well :goodvibes :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Thanks. How many of you are hoping like I am that restaurants will be lenient in letting people on the dining plan use their dessert credit for an appetizer?

You can definitely add me to that list. For us, the dining plan is not really worth it because we do not want dessert. But sure can eat some appetizers.

I think it is a good list it has rest. for both the adults and children. I think they all have great food and different atmospheres. Good Choices!

I think you've chosen very well! Sounds good to me!
California Grill is a favorite of ours too, and Spoodles is my new favorite! Have fun!!

:goodvibes
