Will there be ANY holiday decor up before Thanksgiving?

We'll be there 11/19 and I am bummed we'll be missing the Christmas decorations. Will there be anything decorated or is it all done on Thanksgiving night?

we were there last year 11/7-11/21. all the holiday decorations at po-rs went up overnight between 11/9-11/10. i remember because i got married on 11/10 and when i woke up and was going out to get my hiar/makeup done, all the decorations were up -- just like magic b/c they weren't there at all the previous day!

we stayed at the beach club from 11/10-11/21 and the decorations were up there too.

so i'd say that there is hope that you will see some decorations, at least in your resort.

When my DW and I were down at YC in 98 the decorations were going up the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I remember because that was the day we were checking out.

I would assume that most of the decor will be up before Thanksgiving, since they will want to have it ready for that weekend.

They probably won't have everything up, but I'd bet you'll see plenty of decorations. I'm hoping so because we'll be there in 1 week and staying until 11/23.

AKL was starting to put things up when we left last Sunday. The CM told me thier schedule but I can't remember. She did say that they start doing it earlier & earlier every year. I'm betting you'll see plenty.

I just returned from WDW this week and the Christmas decorations were already up in many of the stores in Downtown Disney. And the Christmas music was playing in the stores, too.

Yeah! I'm so excited! I thought that, for sure, we were going to miss seeing the holiday decorations. This trip just keeps getting better and better. Thanks!

in my experiences of previous years, they decorate the resorts before they do the parks, I'm sure that by your trip, most of the resorts should be decorated and maybe some of the parks.

I cant believe they started decorating AKL already! last year we went to see it decorated, and they hadnt done it yet! and this was thanksgivign week!!!!!
it was the last of the resorts to be decorated, so maybe this year it is the first!!!

I just read on another site that the Christmas tree is up and lit at the Beach club already.

We just got back Thursday afternoon (11/07) from the BCV, and the decorations appeared by magic! We didn't go back to our rooms on Wednesday night until 10:00 pm & the BCV lobby still had it's round table & centerpiece;but, Thursday morning by 10:00 am that was replaces with a beautiful Christmas tree & garland strung all around on the railings. It looked wonderful!

This is REALLY exciting news! It will be wonderful to be able to go in mid-November and resort-hop just to see the decorations and help us get in the holiday mood.
