Will there be any deals at DL Hotels over Easter?

I have been watching for specials, and most seem to end in March (or before).

We will be at DL starting the Tuesday before Easter (April 6th) and leaving Easter morning (April 11th).

Do you think they will offer some specials on the Disneyland Hotels (any of them) during that week? We are Disney Vacation Club members and I am considering using points from Tuesday through Thursday at the DLH (the points go up a lot on the weekends). But I am holding out right now wondering if a good special will pop up.

The WDW specials for that time frame are already out, but someone said the DL specials tend to be posted later.

We do have AAA and the Disney Visa Card.

Thanks!

i'm in the same boat with you...we are arriving on 4/4 and leaving 4/9...we are also disney vacation club members and i have booked a room at dlh using my points...i did this after i called reservations and asked if there were any discounts available and was told no...i was offered a room at paradise pier for more then $200 a night with a AAA discount...that's when i figured i would just go ahead an use the points...still holding out hope that they extend the disney visa card offer...we'll see...
good luck...and maybe i'll see you there....

Thanks Christa, it's good to know what to expect (or not to expect :( ).

BTW, I LOVE your website on where to get Vegetarian foods. Our family eats all vegetarian and I have printed off some pages from your site to help us find the best places for us to eat. I really appreciate all the work you put into that.

Thanks again!

Totally agree with Christa, I wouldn't count on discounts at the resort hotels at all. I wish Disney did more discounts like WDW though!princess:

Well, I went ahead and used points from my DVC membership for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. For Friday and Saturday I think I will get us reservations at the Candy Cane Inn (seems like a lot of people on this board like that place).

Thanks for the information. I hated using so many points for it, but as DH said, we have to use the points somehow, this is where we want to stay, we don't want to pay the price of the hotel ($255 plus tax), so use our points!

Now I will go check on the Candy Cane! Can't believe our trip is only 2 months away now!
