Will the US be dragged into Israel's conflict with Lebanon?

As the US is Israel's main alley and the only country in the UN Security council to vote against a resolution condemning Israel and demanding it halt its separate military offensive in the Gaza Strip. Do you think that the US will eventually become involved in the conflict?

Israel wouldn't need American assistance to address issues in Gaza or Lebanon. Only if Syria gets involved would we be dragged into it.
