Will the tix I buy direct from WDW automatically link to MDE?

I am going to buy our WDW tix (2 one day passes and 2 two day passes) directly from Disney. We are staying offsite so no other packages from Disney will be purchased. If I purchase the tix from Disney website while logged in under my user, do they automatically link to my MDE account?

If not, how do I link them? I am ordering them this week. My FP + window won't open until early August. Can I get them linked in plenty of time to book my FP by then?

Thank you!

1. Should happen.

2. Order the tickets as "Will Call" (pick up at WDW after arrival)
and input the confirmation number you get when you order into your MDE account.

3. Should happen "immediately" under either of the two circumstances above.

Mine did not link automatically even though I was logged in to MDE, but I made the mistake of NOT choosing the Will Call option and had them mailed to me. The confirmation number I received for purchasing the tickets would not link. I received them about a week ago for my mid-July trip and was lucky enough to still able to get all the FP+ times I wanted for my party.

When I purchased my tickets online directly through Disney they automatically linked in MDE. I did lot have to do anything. It was great!

I didn't order tickets through Disney but I did order the MNSSHP and Memory Maker option. My Memory Maker was linked to my MDE account and the card followed in the mail but the MNSSHP were not - but I too had them mailed versus "Will Call."

Thank you for all the helpful responses and personal accounts of how it worked (or didn't). ;)

So if I order now, it might take more than a month for my tickets to arrive (hence the will call option)???

Where is will call at the MK? We have an early ADR (pre park opening) on our first MK day. Will that be a problem?

How long did it take for your tix to arrive after your order? I'm a little over a month away from my FP+ booking window.

I am confused as to how having them picked up via will call v. Mailed is better. Is it b/c you receive a confirmation number to link earlier than you would receive the actual tix? So you can theoretically link to MDE sooner?

OP here.

Does anyone have insight on my follow up questions above?

Thank you!:goodvibes

So I ordered them on June 9th (for a trip starting July 15th) and they said they would get to me by June 22nd. I actually received them on June 19th so in the end it only took 10 days to get them. Even being well into the 30 day window I was able to get all the fastpasses I wanted (Anna and Elsa were available but we did not want to get one to see them).

Thank you, IsThatYouTigger. Good to know you had availability past 30 days, too. :thumbsup2. I was worried about that.....it's our first offsite stay and I was concerned about the 30 day delay behind on-site folks.

Have a great trip....only 2 weeks to go for you. :wizard:

Thanks! I know, I will be there before I know it! Yeah, I think that you will still be able to schedule everything you want without a problem! Hope you have a great trip!
