Will the system let you book a FP+ when the ride is closed for refurb?

Hi

We will be at WDW in July and we will want to book a FP+ for Soarin. Our 60 day mark will be in May when Soarin will still be closed for refurb. Will the system let us book it then or do we need to wait until the ride opens back up? Thanks for any input!

When I booked out FP at the 60 day mark, I knew that Soarin would be closed for our trip, but it was open on the day I did our picks. It didn't even show up on the FP list when I booked Epcot. I believe if it is supposed to be open on the date you are choosing, that it should show up.

By May they might have a firm enough opening date to allow fastpass reservations. But I don't think they will make them available until they are confident it will be open, and that might be less than 60 days in advance of reopening.
