Will The Swan Transfer Luggage To Wl?

I did ask this on the Swan thread but since it is so long and such an active thread I thought that maybe I should just post a seperate thread. We will be staying at the Swan 1 night and plan to head over to MK on NY Day bright and early. Will the Swan send out luggage over for us. Do they have bellservice like the other disney resorts?

I'm planning on going from WL(or GF) to Dolphin on our next trip. Several posters have reported that Swan/Dolphin will transfer luggage to any Disney resort, even though S/D is not owned by Disney. My question is: Will the Disney resorts transfer luggage to the Dolphin???

This past March, I had luggage transferred from CBR to the Swan.

Last December DH and I stayed at the Swan, and they would not transfer our luggage to CSR. I wonder if it has changed since then.

Hi there, adisneynut! We stayed at the Swan and WL in September. As of then, the Swan did not transfer luggage but there are taxis that are usually waiting out front. We just took our luggage with us in the taxi when we left the Swan. We left early in the morning and our room at the WL wasn't ready yet so they held our luggage for us until we returned later in the day. When we got back it only took them about 10 min. to bring our luggage to our room. I can't remember the exact cost of the taxi, but it really wasn't that much. Have a great trip! We really enjoyed the Swan/ WL split stay.

........and yes, they do have bell service. If for some reason there is no taxi waiting out front, they will be happy to call for one.

We will just take our luggage with us. I realize that the Swan and Dolphin properties are different but if they are going to be on property then they should offer they same services as the other resorts. OK I will get off my soapbox now. Thanks again.

In mid November we moved from Boardwalk Villas to the Swan. Our luggage was transferred, no problem.

At the end of the week we moved from the Swan to AKL, once again, our luggage was taken care of for us.

I was not even going to ask because I had read on the boards that there was no transfering between Disney hotels and S/D. But I asked anyway they acted like it was a completely normal request.
