Will the safe at HNY fit an iPad?

As the title suggests really, for our upcoming trip in a couple of weeks I was hoping to take our iPad. I want to be able to wind the boys down at bedtime by watching some stuff on it, but I'm not keen on leaving it in the room if I can't lock it in the safe. Has anyone been recently or can remember from a previous trip if the safes in the room are big enough?

It will definitely fit an iPad in it. Mine was safely tucked up in there all holiday

I'm always so worried about things like that, but the safe is surprisingly roomy!

Personally I never use the safes at dlp as I have never thought they were totally safe,and that was confirmed to me on our last trip when my mum managed to lock the safe and not be able to open it again,it took my oh less that 2 mins to override it and break into it,and believe me he's no safe cracker or criminal!!! Lol
I always put my valuables in my suitcase,put a padlock on it then slide it under the bed,it is a method that has always served me well over the years.

Do you mean the safe in your room or the safe in the hotel? When we were at HNY last December there was a tiny safe in the wardrobe and we could barely fit our passports and small cameras into it. My Mam had brought her iPad with her and had to bring it with her everywhere, including down to breakfast. It was probably the only thing we were really annoyed about. The safe was ridiculously small. I know their answer is that there is a general hotel safe in reception you can use but I wouldn't feel safe using that.

There are two types is safes at HNY. The older style is small, key lock. I've put a photo of it on the hotel info sticky. I doubt you'd get an iPad in it. The newer ones are digitally locked. We had one a couple of years back and I think they were a bit bigger. I don't have a photo and can't remember how big.

We've never had anything gone missing and usually take our laptop. I make sure anything valuable, and too big for the safe is locked away in our suitcase.
