will the resort allow my parents to check in before I get there?

My parents will be staying with us next week at HH and it seems likely that they will arrive at the resort before we do. We are the DVC members - they are not. We are all staying in the same GV and everyone's name is on the reservation. Will the resort allow them to check in before we get there?

Yes they will let them check in but make sure they have your parents address because they will check their ID. We did this in Feb. my parents were there about 6 hours before us and checked into our 2 bedroom BLT. I called MS to let them know they would be 1st to arrive and they asked for their address since it was not on file. The funny thing is I know get e-mails from dvc survey addressed to my dad!

Keep your cell phone on just in case though - only time I've had a glitch was when my brother checked into his studio when I was in the park (they arrived a few days after us & we had our own 2 bdr), and for some reason MS had listed my 13-year old nephew as the lead person on the reservation and the other names had gotten deleted? So the front desk just called me to make sure that I wanted him to be able to check in since the 13 year old couldn't (we all share the same last name so it was fairly obvious he's my brother). Or perhaps send them with a copy of the reservation with their names listed too? I doubt stuff like this happens often but it can.
