Will the Magic Kindom fill to capacity on Dec. 31st?

1) Whoa.
2) Yes, you are guaranteed admission to "A" park.
3) But it might not be the park you want.
4) I doubt you would get back into MK.
5) But you might get into Epcot (since it hold so many more people).
6) If you want to be at MK at midnight, DO NOT LEAVE the park to eat!
The OP is staying offsite, only AP holders and resort guests are guaranteed admission to a park.

I'm getting scared! I'm in the beginning of planning a Dec 30 - Jan 3 trip. Have hotel ressies done. We will be on-site. I didn't even think about the parks filling and not being able to hop.

I'm thinking I want to be in MK during the day on Dec. 31- My H.S. Band is in the parade, and I would like to see that. And I want to be at MGM for dinner and at midnight. You guys think that's not do-able?

And I didn't really think we'd get anywhere too early - planning on staying at MK late on the 30th.

Thanks,
LisaB

It is imperative that you arrive before park opening if you want to be in the MK on Dec 31. MGM also normally fills to capacity on that day so I would not expect entry into that park in the late afternoon or evening. The only park that you might be able to get into in the late afternoon or evening is EPCOT as mentioned above. Again this is if you are a resort guest Good Luck!
