Will the lines be long at MCO on a Saturday to catch a 9:30 am flight?

I'm just trying to figure out how much time to allow at MCO. We're flying home (on American) on Saturday May 6th around 9:30 am. Do we need to allow more than 2 hours at the airport?

Assume they will. The lines at MCO have been long no matter what the time or day lately!

I arrive everyplace but MCO at one hour in advance. My advice on MCO is no less then two hours and if you have to check luggage you might want a little more time then that.

This past Tuesday (4/11) it took me 45 minutes to clear security at MCO for a 10:45am flight. I would allow at least an hour just to clear security.

I flew on a flight about that time on 3/25, it took 50 minutes to get through security. So yes, plan on two hours, longer if you'll need to go to the counter for anything (including checking bags) before you go to security.

THANKS for the info - guess I'll set the alarm for just a little earlier than I planned! Better to be safe than sorry.....
