I could just kick myself!!! I have been looking at airfare from Kansas City to Orlando for January. They had great prices last week. Like $59 each way!! DH hadn't said yes or no for a January trip so I didn't buy them. I wound up getting the stupid H1N1 virus and have been horribly ill since Thursday. So, today I am better and go to Airtran's website only to see the dreaded --- where all of the cheap flights were. Will they come back or am I SOL? I checked the planes and there is still quite a bit of availiabilty on almost all the flights but the prices home are nothing less than $373 per person! I could just scream! We don't travel much so I thought I would ask some of you seasoned travelers what you thought about it. TIA!

I am having the same problem. We're going from January 30th thru February 6th and I have been checking Air Tran's site daily. Today all I saw was lots of -- and only flights for 380+!:scared1: We will be flying from Flint, Michigan to Orlando. I seriously hope that I haven't missed the boat for flights. I have never booked flights before so I don't know if they will go back down. I'd love to hear advice too.

OP: I hope your feeling better now.:)

I live in Central IL and find the Airtran prices go up and down and up and down -

Hopefully someone will chime in with words of wisdom. Thanks for the well wishes! I am feeling much better today!

I am guessing that Airtran's system went bunk today because it's doing the same thing for just about every day out of many different cities now that I am checking. Hopefully they get it fixed soon :surfweb: It seems to be the connecting flights that I am noticing mostly..the direct flights seemed to be listed correctly :confused3

Thanks for the info. They came back for me about noon (central time) I went ahead and booked my flights. Kansas City to Orlando was $74 and Orlando to home was $64. I really wanted an early flight from Kansas City to Orlando but sure wasn't going to pay 300 and some odd bucks for one. Had to get an evening arrival time. Oh well! We're going to WDW!!! Yipeeeee!!!!
