Will the crane be taking lights down on Jan 4th?

Due to the lovely stomach virus that we all got on our cruise, I had to cancel my MK photo shoot. The next available date is Jan. 4th. Will the crane be in the way?

We were at Disney this past January 8-15th. I think I remember the crane showing up about halfway through our trip. You might be safe, but I would definitely check with your planner or photographer. Good luck!

Disney Photography should be able to answer that. I can't speak with authority, but I THINK they often let it down at night (to not interfere with WISHES). If my theory is correct, it would still be down in the morning for MK Photos. The crane was up on our 1/19/09 wedding, but was nowhere to be seen in our 1/21/09 MK Photos.

Sorry about the stomach bug...that doesn't sound like fun!

Thanks everyone for the info! I am safe! I double checked with DPS. Thankfully, they knew I didn't want it so this is why I got this date. Luckily I live pretty close.

Thanks for the well wishes too. The bug was short-lived and long gone.
