My DH love the location of the BW - we would rent a Studio - but looks like the room needs a redo from the photos online.
I like the looks of the studios in the WL - I think that is Copper Creek
The ones in the main building
I also like the places to eat in at the WL.
But I will stay in the BW studio villa if it ever gets more drawer space, better flooring, and a redo

So any prospects of the BW villas being revamped ?
Thank you
Our time frame is 2025 - when we are both retired from our jobs :)

As CarolMN says, BWV is "in line" for a rehab. However, BRV and BCV are ahead of it in line. So while we can hope that BWV is completed by 2025, I'm not going to depend on it.
Hope they don't remove the fans or jacuzzis from BWV like they did BCV.
We can survive without the jacuzzis (a plain soaking tub is fine with me) but not without ceiling fans! They left ceiling fans in the SSR refurb, so I have hopes that BWV will keep theirs.

The fans are a must, but I hope when they redo BWV they finally update the thermostats to digital so you can actually what the temp in the room is rather than a complete guess.

My money is on no. With the Boardwalk remodels we get a new coat of paint and a new television.

2042 = no way - I will be 84 years old - too old for WDW
2024 is ok with us and no COVID I hope - I will be 66 - fine to walk around

I am probably in the minority - but I would rather have broken items repaired or replaced, and only soft goods updated from now until 2042. Better to have lower MF than be more current in style. ( and I want the fans to stay as well)

I think it will happen sooner than we all think. Hotel side and lobby are going to see some love over the next 6 - 12 months.
The soft goods refurb at BCV won't take long either.

Eventually you reach a point where frequent bandaid fixes are more expensive than larger-scale renovations. BWV is over 25 years old now. These are high-occupancy hotel rooms which receive a lot more abuse than the typical home. In the grand scheme of things, replacing kitchen cabinets and plumbing fixtures isn't terribly expensive when shared by thousands of owners, using contributions made over many years.

25 years is young for a hotel. They can large-scale renovate in 2042
