It's a never-ending battle, savvy?

I'm fully aware that what I own isn't supportive enough for all day touring.

Completely cognizant of the fact that some items are cuter/more comfortable than others.

So today, I ordered these bad boys.

Let's not get too attached, shall we? I mean we all know my track record with buying and returning.

However, they're Merrells. They're cute. And they're green.

Add to that fact they retail for $69.95. Total cost to TK - a little over $20. Oh yeah, baby. EBAY selling has never felt sooooo good.

Good criteria, eh?

I thought so. So these sweet little sandals will be on their way to my door, after which I'll try them on, wear them around, and hopefully deem them worthy. Non-committally of course. Because that worked for the Tevas, savvy? NOCommittment!

The back strap that goes around the heel is detachable as well, so they'd be more like a fancy slide. I think that's how I'll wear them. I hope they fit. I really love Merrells, and I'm so obsessed with green latley. I guess after buying black for years something had to give!

That green is a pretty one! I am a pink girl a lot of the time, but I also love all the fall colors.

I don't do very much pink. Had it all over my room as a kid, and that'll soooo turn you off to a color, kwim? I was a very, very, very girlie girl.

I do like the fall type colors as well. Although during the winter my work wardrobe tends to get very boring. Lots of blacks, whites, grays. Ah well. Hopefully soon I won't have to worry about a work wardrobe.

My winter wardrobe is chockful of blacks, grays, and whites -- by the time spring rolls around I usually am thoroughly depressed -- of course I could buy some new winter things but that takes away from Disney spending.

This stems from several years of having to drive in the most horrendous storms to get to work, only to have the bank actually decide to cancel half way through the day instead of closing the whole dang thing in the first place, thereby saving me having to put myself and my son in a car during that.

I have bought it and am waiting for it to ship to my house. He knew enough for the whole infinity and beyond thing but that's as far as it goes. I have decided that I am going to educate him in Disney movies. I think first up is Beauty and the Beast, one of my all time favorites. I so identified with Belle growing up and he must live it, learn it, love it.

I have already started to dread winter. I had some traumatic occurences last year while driving. It was really bad. They give you a lot of carp about not coming into work too when the weather is bad. I know I work in a phone center but I'm not actually on the phones so it shouldn't matter if I am there or not. I am already getting panicky just thinking about it. Blech. One night last year it took me 3 1/2 hours to get home when it normally takes me 35 minutes. I'm from Maine too, I know snow and am usually a very confident driver. But add snow to Massachusetts when the majority of people don't know how to drive to begin with and it makes me have a panic attack.

DH talked me out of painting our living room sage but he won't talk me out of it again, dagnabit. I could do every room in our house a variation of green. Green is the new pink, you know. Well according to a Gilmore Girls episode. Did anyone watch that?? I am still horrified that they cancelled it.

I LOVED the Gilmore Girls. I think I cried during the last episode. It was my Tuesday night ritual. Gilmore Girls, maybe some junk food, at least one glass of one. It was my me time. I really miss that show. And I do remember green is the new pink.
