Will TarzansKat meet Captain Jack? ~A Pirate's Life for 3 Pre-Trippie~ We're back!

I totally get that. I feel like I am "tied" to my ADR's which is way I am contemplating canceling a few of them. Ugh. It shouldn't be this complicated but that is where our OCD/DIS craziness comes in.

Honestly, I know it's compelling to cancel, but I say, keep them. You can always try to rearrange things when you get down there, and if nothing's available, at least you have something booked. I mean, if you can decide now that you want to do something differently, by all means. But during free dining, I think it's difficult to spontaneously change reservations, so having your "back-up" ADRs is a good idea.:thumbsup2

Very true. Which is why you should book Artist Point and then decide after I give you the Lallie-Review. :goodvibes

You know, I think I may actually do that...now I just have to pick which night to throw it in there...ugh...

And who wouldn't like an immortal Captain Sparrow?

I can't even go there without entering into thread lockdown territory, so let's just leave it all to your delightful imaginations, shall we?

After having thrown out the itinerary, with the exception of our ADRs, I feel better. Lighter. A little more spring in my step, if you will.

Now I know what you're all thinking? If she's going to wing it, how are we still going to have a pre-trip report???? Au contraire, my mateys...there are many other fun and exiting things to plan/do before this trip.

And thus begins this new chapter in my pre-trip report life, in which discuss some all important, vital, key aspect to the trip.

And that, me hearties, is a mascot.

Now we know the obvious choice. And there are some options. I discovered yesterday...how is it possible...that there were more options here at home than I thought! More Jack Sparrows than I realized...I mean, he is all over the place in my house, but let's not get sidetracked by my lovely wall calendar currently displaying my favorite pirate...:::sigh:::

Focus, focus! :lmao:

Let's get back to the mascot.

And the choices are:

Who can possibly forget this little guy? Portable, adorable, and easy to pack, he was a Happy Meal toy a while back. I have since confiscated him from DS for safe-keeping.;) Lord only knows what would happen if it were to end up in his room! :scared1:

Edit: Changing up the images, will post shortly

And now we have Action Figure number 1. He's smaller, still portable, and still lovely. However, I am worried that due to his small stature he won't show up in all the fun/embarassing photos I plan for him...:::hmm:::

Edit: Changing up the images, will post shortly

And finally, Action Figure number 2. He is cool as all get out. Normal size action figure, souped up, cool sword, awesome accessories. I hate, hate, hate to take him out of the box. We are collectors. We do not remove things from boxes. We keep them, and hoard them, and admire them from their plastic-enshrouded safety. Is this trip a worthy cause? Should Jack be freed? Should he be part of a pirate's life for three?

And did you ever even begin to think that I could get so excited about action figures...my DH would be so proud! ;)

In the words of Crush, DUDE!

Have you guys seen my ticker today? Only four months to go!!!! :goodvibes

I think I like the first one, he would be very cute in photos. Though Action Figure #2 is great as well.

Hey guys...does anyone know if I can remove the park-hopping option without affecting my whole vacation package? I'm so excited about having booked the Wilderness Lodge, but as I look at my non-itinerary it's pretty apparent that we don't necesssarily need to hop, and I have read that should you feel the desire, you can always add it on when you get down there. At this point, I'm looking at my overall price tag, and although doable, it sure would be nice to par it down a little.

TIA! :goodvibes

I have made changes to my vacation package and all that is changed is what I want to change...if that makes sense. I was able to keep the same confirmation number and everything. :dance3:

Cool, thanks. I'm trying to decide whether or not to drop the hopping or keep it. We have never been the type of people to make it to EMH, unless they're in the evening, and there's only one night I could see us actually doing that. I know some people will go to EMH at one park and then leave and go to another park, but that's the kind of touring I'd really like to avoid with a 3 year old...it seems too much to me.

Any thoughts?

As the Queen of Vacation Package Changes, I can tell you that you can change your resort, your ticket options, and your dining plan without affecting your whole package. In the course of planning the June trip, I went from Park Hopper to regular and the CM did it in about 30 seconds without changing anything else. You can do it without any problems.

I like the first Captain Jack.

I thought of you today when a student asked what "savvy" meant (it was in the book we are reading). :lmao:

I like the luxury of park hopping....it would take a lot for me to give it up even though on my last trip, I only went to one park a day. I like the option to do it but if you can add it on when you get there then maybe it's worth it to take it off for now.
I'm real helpful, huh? :rotfl2:
