Will TarzansKat meet Captain Jack? ~A Pirate's Life for 3 Pre-Trippie~ We're back!

I am planning on learning how to go with the flow by living vicariously through your vacation! That's my plan, anyway! ;)

Very nice non-binding itinerary! Which so sounds like some sort of undergarment support, doesn't it?

Ooh, yes, if Festival of the Lion King fits into your non-plans, you so need to see it! It's great. And Nemo's good too--personally, I probably liked Nemo the teensiest bit more, but if DS is into LK at the moment, the TK clan should definitely see it.

If it fits into the non-plans, of course. ;)

I knew there were some plans in there somewhere! Man, do I get warm and fuzzy just looking at that list because essentially a plan is a long list. ::Sigh:: Is it wrong that I get warm and fuzzy over lists?

Anyone?

......:confused3

:rotfl: :lmao: You wouldn't be our Lady Listy if you didn't!

I'll have alcohol porn.

Oooo, alcohol porn.

You must become wise in the ways of the force. Learn to let go your conscious self.;)

It totally sounds liks something you would wear when you need to hide some excess, kwim?

I'm really looking forward to the Festival of the Lion King. Since DS has been watching it, I've remembered how much I love the music, and the first time I saw it in the theater. I've also seen the Broadway show and was actually moved to tears during the opening sequence, it's just that beautiful.:goodvibes

Of course.;)

I am dying to see all of the Disney Broadway shoes. They need to come to Boston. Mary Poppins, Little Mermaid and Lion King! :cloud9:

make a beeline for Casey's and order the yummy, the delectable, the oh sooooo good hot dog. With fries. And some cheese sauce. Oh yeah, baby.

Someone needs to design a smiley for the passion with which you hunger for this treat.
I'm not sure if it would end up being PG, though, so I'm not volunteering.
Wouldn't be prudent.

And perhaps a junky apple.

Can you say breakfast at Boma?

Breakfast at Boma.

Slushie margarita anyone?:goodvibes

:wave2:

Lapu Lapu Fest - 400pm

:woohoo:

For me, it's not Disney until I see the castle. Must, must, must see the castle first. It's like...like...home. Like putting your ticket in, walking through the turnstile and looking up at the train station, and thinking, I'm here, I'm here.

Then walking under the tunnels, anticipating that moment. That moment when you'll finally walk out into the sun and stand in the middle of Main Street and see one of the best sights you could possibly see. The Castle. The beacon of I'm on vacation. I'm part of Walt's dream. I'm here with my family, we're happy, we're healthy, and life doesn't get much sweeter than this. I get teary-eyed just thinking about it.

I'm all sorts of teary-eyed and semi-BORG. Only semi because I can't start a Disney vacation at the MK unless it's in the morning. On my arrival day I'll go to any other park but I have to save that first castle glimpse for the first thing in the morning on my first full day. :goodvibes

Unfortunately it won't happen this trip because of the way our schedule worked out with MNSSHP, but I'm at peace with that. Seeing the Headless Horseman will no doubt make up for it.

I need to figure out/get a little notebook so I can jot down my thoughts at the end of each day otherwise I'll never remember everything.

NO! DON'T BUY ANYTHING!

Just sayin'.

Watch the mail in the next week or so.

I have to agree with Tink here. I have to see the Castle in the morning, fresh from sleep, in a cute outfit with my camera batteries charged. I think going to EPCOT on arrival day will just heighten the anticipation. Our first morning will be spent with early ADR's at Crystal Palace and I just can't wait to get a glimpse of that oh so magical Castle. :cloud9:

Love your itinerary! And I cannot WAIT to make an itinerary of our own! You know, like when they RELEASE THE TIMES FOR NEXT JANUARY.

But I'm not bitter.

It would run a close second on the non-DIS appropriate scale to the smiley that would equate to how I REALLY feel about Jack Sparrow.

;) ;)

Nice. Isnt' it funny how we all have our traditions?

Although it's highly possible if my grocery run turns into hey I really want to get WL let's just go, that I'll be looking at the castle in the morning.:lmao:

:surfweb: I'll be doing this. Except to the mail box. Except without the mug. But you get the idea.:goodvibes

Aww...I love hearing all your takes on it.

Somebody needs a hug.

Oh yeah...

THAT'S ME!!!!!

Guess what guys?

I discovered a little sumpin' today.

Prices for my flight on the 14th dropped.

Yup, they dropped. And because I've only booked the flight on the 14th, and not the 21st yet, I now have a $39 credit to apply to those tickets.

:woohoo:

Go TK, it's your fare day, go TK, it's your fare day.

Words do not explain my excitement for you!! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:
I think it was all the praying to the airfare gods we did.

Shall we partake in some for your flights on the 21st?

I think, yes.

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

If the fares dropped for the 14th, maybe they'll drop for the 21st too!!!

Excellent! Good to see the book one flight at a time working. Question: did you get the credit immediately to use?

:surfweb: I'll be doing this. Except to the mail box. Except without the mug. But you get the idea.:goodvibes

This is me on my way to the post office this morning:

:moped:

Only less moped and more Honda Civic.
Oh.
And I have hair.
And arms, not free-floating hands.
And a neck.
But I AM that round.
Today.

I seriously just got up and did the running man in my dining room for you.
No joke.
How happy am I BF is at work so he didn't have to witness that?

Thanks for all the well wishes on the lower airfare! I was jazzed!

Excellent! Good to see the book one flight at a time working. Question: did you get the credit immediately to use?

I'm not sure if I'm reading your question right. If you mean did it come of off the flight on the 14th, the answer is no. But I'm able to use that credit towards my return flight, which I'm really excited about.:goodvibes

And very, very thankful, that you suggested that one way thing to me!:thumbsup2

Honda Civic! Do you get good gas mileage? Is it your non-moped vehicle? For your non-DIS days?;)

The running man! :rotfl2:

TK,

I just read your entire pre-trip report in one day... I am kind of obsessive compulsive like that...

Happy to jump in when I did and can't wait to read more!

:lmao: DH took a picture of me doing the running man in the water in Bermuda. It was lots of fun but a pretty hideous picture.
