Will Song offer credits?

I booked my flight a couple of months ago at $79 pp each way. When they shot up to $133 pp, I thought I was in the clear. Now the flights are $49 pp each way and I am wondering if they issue vouchers when their prices go down. Has anyone done this before?

Yes they will issue vouchers. We flew Song last September and ended up getting two vouchers per ticket as the price dropped twice.

The vouchers are valid for one year from date of issue - you just need to book another flight within the one year period - you don't need to travel within that time frame. Song also told me that the vouchers can now be transferred to another person.

Can I ask when and where you are flying from? I see you're from CT. I have not seen any flights from NYC lower than $59 so I would be curious to see when you are checking for and if you are flying out of Hartford, which would be do-able for me as well. Thanks!

Princess Dot, I see you have another thread out there, but to answer you question, I am flying from June 1st through the 6th. Bradley is a nice airport, in my opinion.It was $79 when I booked and it is now $49 each way, so thats a credit of $240!!

Thanks alecam! After I posted I tried Hartford on the Song website and voila! There was the $49 rate! Awesome! I'm not even sure we will go, but I figure DH might be persuaded with that low a rate. I did see the $59 fare from LGA, but I was able to get the $49 from Hartford even for a Sunday return which would be great for us.

The Hartford Airport website lists them as being 1 hour from Danbury, so if there is no traffic (HA!) or even with traffic it still would be worth if for us I think.

Okay, im totally confused now. I just called, the lady was really rude and said "You want a $5.00 credit? Because that is all it will be" Did I miss something? If it helps, we paid the $79.00 price when we first bought the tickets.

When I called, there was a 25.00 fee pp to expedite the credit, so on a one way trip it would only be $5, but for a round trip, it was a $30 credit pp!

you won't hit any traffic in hartford on a sunday and if you get thru hartford during the week other than at rush hour you will be ok. (7am-8:30am) (3pm-5:30pm)
