I got this in my email about my inferno. I did lose it in a trade steal but vmk has no trace of it ever being in my items when I have owneed 7 or more inferno and I did own this 1 I lost there must be a mistake I did lose it by a trade steal and I did own it. How can I not own something I owned

1.Person who was in room when I lost inferno
2.Luist who traded me inferno

Know I had inferno there are others also I think CL_piratesteff knows I had inferno and I will ask them to write vmk about this but does anyone else know I had it?

I suggest you contact your CL's friends as they may have a better chance of knowing. But that stinks you lost it in a trade steal.

If I am not mistaken, VMK logs ALL trades and conversations. Depending on what day/time it happened, I'm sure they could track it.

What were you asking for the contact us people to help you with in the first place? I do not understand. I know it's bad that you lost it in a trade situation, but Staff have warned us many times that if you think the trade is not fair or it is a process of more than one screen than you should not press accept and/or they advice not to do trades that involve more than one trade screen(s).

Also I am not trying to be against you but really there is no way to steal something in VMK or in a trade without you pressing "Accept" which means you agreed. (It's like an agreement in a contract)

The letter you posted does not say you never had inferno it says they cant find the transaction you were refering too...

And I cant help because I never knew you had it....

I just want to make sure I am getting this right. Did you report stuff that was stolen before and now you are reporting another theft?

this all sounds fishy to me. Why would someone trade inferno and get not 1 single item back in the 1st trade window? I am curious as to what you were trading inferno for? I dont know many people that go through infernos at the rate that you say, 7 infernos? Come on. Most people wont let 1 go, let alone 7.

How does one do a trade steal, don't you as a trader HAVE to click except TWICE to make a trade?

Sorry to say it, but if you click except, I don't think VMK should do anything for you.

Here is something that might help VMK investigate the transaction. Write a clear and organized letter. You seem to have some trouble expressing your ideas in writing. I'm guessing that is part of the confusion about this transaction. I'll do my best to give you some tips.

State the problem and how you would like the problem to be resolved in the first paragraph. This will let the reader know exactly what you want. For example, you might say something like, "My inferno pin was stolen from me on (fill in the date and time) during a trade with (fill in the person's name). I would like you to help me undo this transaction by returning (fill in the items you received in the trade) to (fill in the person's name) and returning my inferno pin to me."

Then, state what happened, step by step. You can do this in a list. For example:
"Here is what happened.
- (fill in the person's name) came to my (name of room) guest room
- (fill in the person's name) asked me to trade my inferno pin for (list what the person offered)
- We agreed to trade
- I added my inferno pin to the trade window
- (fill in the person's name) added (list what they offered) to the trade window
- (describe what went wrong - Did you accept and then the person removed some items without you realizing it? Was it hard to keep track of the trade because the trade window kept freezing?)"

If you have pictures of or witnesses to the transaction, include that information and how to access it. For example, list links to any pictures and list the VMK names of the witnesses.

State the problem and how you would like the problem to be resolved again to remind the person what the problem is.

Thank the person for taking the time to read your letter.

Don't include irrelevant information. It doesn't matter if you have had more than seven inferno pins. Giving extra information just makes the letter more confusing.

Have someone else read your letter before you send it to make sure you have expressed your thoughts in a logical manner.

For the benefit of others, can you please explain what this means? How did you lose something in a trade steal? Did the trade go through without you hitting "accept" twice? I honestly do not understand how someone can steal something and would like to know more.

Maybe get a parent to write a clear consise letter will help. I am a little confused by the post about how it happened.

So you had inferno and was going to trade it for items. You gave them the inferno and they didn't give you anything in return and that is how they stole it?

What I want to know is how is that possible? Usually inferno trades are the other way around someone leaves before giving the inferno I have never heard of someone giving the inferno first. That just goes against everything we know about safe trading and I know you know how to trade and trade all the time so I just can't understand how it happened.

VMK has records of EVERYTHING we do, say and trade. They will be able to find the trade you are referring to if you give them enough information and this is where I suggest getting a parent to help.

i would also like to know this. I am not sure if it is the same trade or not, but if i remember, you got sparrow suit and more for your inferno and you just weren't happy with the trade that you made. if that is a totally different trade, i still don't get how you got nothing in return. and that it happened twice?

I have trading problems ok I can't keep stitch hat for more then a day because im worried the value will go down I have gone through 4 stitch hats and traded them all the same day I got them and I was very tired that day and I knew they put something up but they somehow took it away or something like that happened
