Will rental cars have LATCH for car seats?

I know most cars have them now, but I don't know when they started. We're renting from National. Will all of their cars be new enough to be equipped with LATCH? Just want to be prepared for installing it in the rental car. Thanks!

I believe all cars starting with/after 1996 are required to have Latch

Definitely not 1996, more like 2002 or so (my 2000 doesn't have it, my 2002 does).

I think most agencies used nearly new cars -- at least the national companies. My 1999 Maxima did not have the LATCH but my 2003 Odyssey does.

Ooops, 1996 is when I believe LATCH was first introduced but I did find that almost all cars built since 2002 are required to have them. My 1998 civic has them.
