will pool hopping for DVC members be allowed when resorts open back up

Does anyone know if pool hopping or resort hopping to tour around will be allowed? we have a vacation booked with no tickets for last week of July. so definitely looks like it will be a no park trip. Has anyone talked to someone with DVC to find out if pool hopping will be allowed as usual for DVC owners? If this has been answered already somewhere else sorry for asking again. Hoping to find out without actually calling and waiting on line for hours so hoping someone here has already found out. thanks for help

It has not be mentioned. I would be surprised if it is allowed. In terms of resorts, again, seems to be unclear if you are considered a day guest unless you are staying there.

With BCV being allowed to use Luna Park pool. I don’t think they will allow it there.

I think we have to wait until tomorrow to get clearer answers

I have not seen it mentioned, but I really doubt it will be allowed when the resorts open. And I don't expect to see it when the parks open.

When I spoke to a CM I asked about going to a different resort and was told you are only going to be able to go to a resort that you either have a confirmed reservation at or a confirmed dining reservation. That's it. I even asked about if the walkway between BWV, BC & Swan/Dolphin would be available to walk around the lake and was told at this time they don't know if the walkway around Crescent Lake will be open.

I have a stay at the Polynesian July 30-August 8th. If pool hoping is available for dvc would I be able to rent a cabana at the gf? That is my home resort, not sure it would matter.

Anyone can rent the cabana, not just DVC. Only question is if they restrict it.

Home resort doesn't matter for this stuff, as your points entitle you to the amenities of the resort where you are booked.

Thanks. I understand anyone can rent them, not just dvc. I was just curious if someone who is dvc that pool hops would be allowed to rent if you’re not staying there.

I mean, literally, anyone can rent not just those staying at GF. The only cabanas that are limited to overnight guests of the resort are those at BC/YC. Someone staying at AOA can rent the GF cabana.

I noticed a few days ago that all the info on pool hopping was gone from all the resort threads on the DVC member website.

Honestly they need to key card all the pool gates whether hopping is dropped or not. It amazes be how easy it would be for a day guest to swim at the GF pool for example.
