Will options from old passes work for Disney Quest?

Hopper Pluses (options) were only good for water parks and PI and sports, not Disney Quest .. new Magic Your Way options are also for Disney Quest ..?any word on whether options from pre-magic tickets will get you into DQ after 1/2/05?

No.

The old tickets can be used, but by the terms under which they were originally sold. So unfortunately, unless you have a special kind of pass with plusses that did allow you into DisneyQuest, you won't be able to get in.

You could wait and see. Things could change in a few years.

Disney did extend Animal Kingdom to tickets sold before that park opened, contrary to what was printed on the ticket.

Also, currently, if old passes are traded up towards new passes (up until now the exchange rate is worse the older the passes are) the unused plusses do not survive.

No, the old passes will stay as they are now and allow you into the parks and plusses that are on them. DQ will only be an option with the new passes, and those Convention tickets that are sold with that option.
