Will my teenagers love AKL?

We're staying at AKV for the first time, I can't wait. We're taking a full day just to enjoy the resort. What should we do and do you think teenagers will enjoy it too? (2 boys, 15 and 16)

My 3 teens said AKL is their favorite resort. My DS (age 17) really liked the arcade and the hot tub. He also liked watched the animals at night with night vision goggles. There is a CM posted at the savannahs in the evenings with night vision goggles for guests to view animals.

We had a pool view room which was close to the food court, the arcade, pool, etc. We loved the location!

Great! Now, these goggles..is this outside and is it a free for all to use the goggles? Are they loose or stuck to a pole or something? You can tell I'm brand new at this. What did your kids like at Mara? Did they go on the resort tours, like the culinary tour etc.? thanks!

If you go to the Uzima savannah which is past the hot tub, there is a Cast Member posted there holding the night vision goggles. He lets every one take a turn looking through them. I think there may also be a Cast Member posted at the Sunset overlook as well.

My kids will eat chicken fingers every day at Mara! There was a fried shrimp dinner they liked as well. My DD's loved the chocolate muffins for breakfast.

We did not do any of the tours, but they did sound interesting. Maybe next trip.
