Will my Garmin get me around California okay?

We are hoping our Garmin gets us around without getting lost.

Mine works great. I'm in San Diego, and it's always been updated and rarely turns me wrong. (i.e. my maps are a year old and sometimes new retail spaces aren't there. The roads are, the street numbers aren't.)

Do you have traffic? Up by LA, I find it useful to help me with the congestion and accidents.

Yes, we have a Garmin and it works just fine here in California.

Actually, we had a problem with it in Orlando when running into construction around a freeway. Took us forever to find an on ramp (my DM doesn't subscribe to the update service.)

The roads in OC have all been here a long time and the will be on your Garmin-relax, you're good.

yes, ours is elderly with no updates and we live out of state but it does fine.
