Hi everyone,

We leave for our first Disney trip in just 10 more days. I booked back in April w/ a WDW agent and even booked our flights w/ him (big mistake on my part...live and learn I guess). Anyway.....will I get any sort of airline tickets in the mail? Will I get something via email? Am I suppose to be calling Delta or someone to verify we're actually on the list of passengers for the flight? The only confirmation # I have is the one for my entire WDW package. I'm getting nervous..please help!:confused3

I haven't flown Delta but I'm guessing no. Most airlines have ticketless travel these days. The first time I did it it was with Airtran. They printed our tickets at the airport when we checked in for our flight. If you are worried call your TA and ask for confirmation!

Enjoy your trip!

Have you received your "package" documents from WDW yet??

If so, look through that and see if there is any airline information in there. If you haven't received those documents yet, call Disney ASAP and find out where they are!!!

Are you booked on Magical Express?? Have you received your Magical Express packet yet?? If not, call them ASAP!!

I just wanted to add that if you were planning on taking DME from the airport you should have gotten your tags for that already. Make sure your TA gave your flight info to Disney.

I called my airlines directly and verified that I was on the plane number that disney gave me. The airlines in turn sent me an email for on line check in and I would be able to pay for my bags ahead of time. All I need to do is bring a confirmation with me from the email. The airline is Contienental, but I'm sure it is similair for all

Thank you all for your replies. Yes, I have all my DME stuff and I just looked in my booklets that Disney has sent me and I do see it written in there that we're on that flight, just no actual ticket type stuff. I think I'll take a recommendation I read here and call Delta to verify we're on that flight. I'm totally ok w/ doing things online or printing them out at the airport, I just really wanted to make sure that I wasn't suppose to have something "in hand" already.

Thanks so much. I'll call Delta tomorrow....it's bedtime here on the east coast!

It's called "elecronic ticketing" for a reason. There is no "paper" ticket, everything is in a computer.

I've flown many times w/o tickets in hand until I check in at the airport and have gotten my boarding passes, but I've always booked on the phone w/ the airline and then I get an email confirmation. It just felt a little odd not having that this time.

The first time I got an "e" ticket, it felt really weird. I must have called 2-3 times to confirm that my family was actually on the flight.

Most airlines will not send you anything to confirm. Your 6 letter/digit confirmation is the only connection you have to the flight. If you want to be sure, simply call and tell them you want to confirm your flights. They will ask for your confirmation number.

Have a great trip.

With Delta you can check-in on-line 24 hours before your fllight and you can also check and pay for baggage at that point. You then print out your boarding passes. When you get to the airport you can do curbside baggage or go to the kiosk at Delta. Put your info in and then one of the counter agents will weight and tag your bags. You then take them to the drop off area and go to security. If you are staying on-site at Disney, the return process is just as easy. You will call BAGS (info will be in the room) the day before you check-out (have your flight/confirmation no. and a pen/paper handy), give them your cc no. for the checked bags. On the day of check out you take the confirmation no. BAGS gave you, all persons in your party and baggage to the RAC desk and they will check-in your bags and send them to the airport and they will print out your boarding passes and you can go to a park or airport, depending on your plans.
