Will Little Mermaid and/or Star Tours have Fast Pass?

Anyone know if they are adding Fast Pass to Star Tours when it reopens? How about the new Little Mermaid ride in DCA, will it have Fast Pass? I certainly hope so as they will be uber-popular. I was really surprised when they didn't have Fast Pass for Toy Story Mania. Sorry if this has been asked and answered before...

I hope Dangermouse is correct, both rides will be mobbed.

Just read online that Buzz Lightyear Fast Pass are already closed down to be converted to Star Tours Fast Pass. Sounds like a good decision as Star Tours is going to be extremely popular!

Wish they would add Fast Pass to the new Ariel ride and Toy Story Mania.... Oh well... Sounds like sometime in the future they will have customizable options from home on rides and character meetings that might far surpass the convenience of Fast Pass. That sounds interesting.

I wish they would add Fast Pass to Toy Story Mania too! Hopefully with Ariel opening the lines for TSM will be a little shorter.

You can now see over the wall pictures of the Buzz FP area, and it now has Star Tours FP distribution themeing sticking up. I don't think it can be more confirmed at this point, until someone sticks a ticket in and gets a FP that says Star Tours on it.

I wonder how I should proceed at DCA opening. In what order should we do the following:
ride Little Mermaid
ride Toy Story Mania
get Fastpasses for World of Color
get Fastpasses for Soarin'

We'll be there in early July, so peak season.

What would you guys recommend?

1. Ride LMAUA first - get there early. By 9:15AM.

2. Get WOC and Soarin FPs

3. Ride TSMM late afternoon or early evening and the line will likely be 30-40 minutes - same or even less than after you get off LMAUA

Star Tours - yes
Mermaid - no

Well, that makes the news I found out last week even sweeter. In July, I will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel for a CTMH Convention. We were told last week that:

• Free FASTPASS® for Disneyland® Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier® Hotel Guests
Guests at the Disneyland® Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier® Hotel will each receive a FASTPASS to visit the brand new Little Mermaid attraction in Disney’s California Adventure® Park and a FASTPASS for the newly redone Star Tours in Disneyland® Park. Please note that the FASTPASSes do not include park entrance, which must be purchased separately. If you are sharing a room with your family or another Consultant, be sure the name of each guest is on the reservation, as you must be listed with the hotel to receive your FASTPASSes.

:banana::banana::banana:

And I just assumed that ALL Disney hotel guests will receive Fastpasses for these attractions for a limited time. But maybe it is just hotel guests for our Convention???

Oh, I hope this type of deal becomes available to the public. Fastpasses to what will be this summer's most popular rides would definately be an incentive for me to book onsite.

Just booked the Grand Californian and was told we'd be getting two FPs each for both Little Mermaid and Star Tours... maybe I heard wrong but I'm pretty sure that's what they said.

To my knowledge that would be a first, but that would be great when we check in in August.

This is good news. I looked the Disneyland site the other day and the page for the ride says the only feature available is Rider Swap, so I didn't think they were going to have it. I was actually looking to see if they'd have a single rider line, which I'm still hoping for. This is a ride that could certainly sustain one... but then again, so could Tower of Terror - it's the queue on that one that seems to be the problem. Hopefully ST will have a single rider friendly queue and the feature will be added eventually.

Star tours is absolutely going to have Fast Pass. For everyone, just like the other FP attractions.

The FP distribution area is already built and Disney has announced it will have FP as well. It's a done deal.

Does anyone have a link to where Disney is advertising the FPs for hotel guests? I can't anything like that. But their website is a big place! :)

http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/asp/dl.aspx

If it doesn't open right to the offer, it's in the middle "Featured Offer- FASTPASS Summer Offer"
Hmmm, LP writes it as if it is from a Disney website. I searched the DLR website for any reference to this - including searching for all FASTPASS words, and cannot find it.

Others have of course reported calling the hotels directly and this being confirmed. Just strange Disney has not posted in somewhere...

Thanks. :)
