Traveling with two young kids (ages 1 & 4), we will be loaded down with a double stroller, and luggage for the four of us for two weeks (not to mention the groceries we need to purchase on the way to the hotel). We are planning on using one of the towncar services. Should we plan on a towncar or a van? Will the towncar services provide both a booster and a car seat?

Thanks for your insights

or should I say van. We are leaving for a week and ahalf. We have DDs, 4 and 1, a double stroller and I am scared to count the pieces of luggage. We went for the van to be on the safe side. And depending on the towncar service, booster and car seats may be provided or rented. Does the one year old have herown seat on the plane? If she does you have ot bring her car seat anyway. Good luck with your decision and trip.

All of the people and things you describe would not have fit into the towncar we used. My advice is to call the service and talk to someone there so you know for sure - especially about the car seat and booster. I'm betting they'll recommend a van.

First, have you considered how easy it will be to do laundry since you will have a washer/dryer in your room (assuming you are in at least a 1 bdrm)? I would pack light even for 2 weeks. Second, the town car company will provide ONE carseat. Assuming your 1YO will be riding in their own seat, you will have that carseat with you. The 4YO can ride with only a lapbelt on the plane and you can ask the towncar service to provide a booster seat or carseat for him/her. The groceries should be okay in the floorboard in front of the kids since their feet don't go all the way to the floor. You will be able to swing it if you PACK LIGHT!

Good luck!!

I would say definetly a van.
