Will Iraq ever be safe?

I was watching a show on U.S. soldiers in Iraq. Although I think what they are doing is very right I just wonder will it ever truly be safe. Even if you wipe out hundreds of insurgents it seems hundreds more show up. I'm sure it will take years to become more stable but I just wonder what it will really take? This is not about President Bush's desicion to go to war in Iraq, I just really thought who could ever go there and walk around without fear of being killed. I give alot of credit to our military for what they are trying to do. They have a very hard job over there. My real hope is they can turn power over to the Iraq's and come home.

It is up to the people of Iraq, when they all decide they are tired of it all they will stop helping the terrorist and fight them. I know some of the Iraqi people have stepped up to the plate put there lives on the line to fight them but a large group still support them, if not actively than passively

I fear that an even semistable Iraq in the foreseeable future is beyond reach. I hope to be proven wrong

Even though I stand by what the President had to do I still don't see Iraq as a place people would go to. I just hope it gets safer for the people that have to live there.
