Hi. I have been using a scooter for health reasons for years and no das was needed. I do like to walk occasionally but am now on oxygen. I can transfer without issues but with the bulky oxygen I wasn’t sure if a das is needed for the times I do walk. Can you help?
I recommend asking in the Disabilities section on DIS- some great folks there. But basically you would have to explain: why you can't be in the regular line and what you need.
If you mention any kind of mobility issues, they'll likely say no since DAS isn't given for that. Totally ask this on the disability board- they'll give you great advice.
No, it’s not. DAS allows an individual to wait outside the line about the same amount of time as someone in the standby line. It’s based on one’s inability to wait in line.

“Front of the line” access pass is usually understood to be that one would skip the line entirely and have no wait time. The only disability pass that grants that kind of access is the genie pass, which is not generally available.
Yes, using DAS, you may enter the FastPass queue any time at or after the return time for the attraction on your DAS.
DAS ≠ "front of the line access pass" -- when you return to the ride, it is possible that you may still have to wait for some time before boarding. The wait time may be just a few minutes or as long as an hour (in an extreme case -- I have experienced this myself), depending on the circumstances. All guests with DAS should be prepared to wait just in case.
