I have changed my ressies at GF to 7:10 pm and if I cannot make it to MK to see Wishes, we will watch them near Narcoossees and aftewards head over to MK.

Is this doable?

I am from NJ too. My flight inevitably arrives early than the time stated. It usually only takes 2hr 20-30 min -- so you may arrive earlier than 4:13.

1. Take car service from the airport - conversion van/or limo or rent a car for the week -pretty cheap and the valets help with the ECV.
2. Go directly to GF for dinner.
3. Do not pass go - do not collect 100 dollars.
4. Check in at AS online - if its offered.

Keep the ADR -- i think you can do it--

When I went to WDW last July I made a 9pm Chef Mickey's ressie. My flight was due in at 4:30pm and you guessed it, we barely made it.

Our flight got delayed, then we had to get our luggage and rental car. Then we drove to our hotel (POR) and gave our bags to bell services (did not check in) and drove straight to CR. Juuuuust made it.

I have never had a ressie the same night since.

OT: If the check in line is long I would consider not checking in at my resort (All Star Movies) but instead leaving the carry-ons with the bellhop and running out to the cab to Grand Floridian. Then check in upon return from Wishes.

This is off topic because I think the probability of getting off the Magical Express bus with enough time to do even this is less than 50 percent.

Which begs the question, does it matter if your yellow tagged baggage gets to the resort long before you officially do, i.e. before you check in.

The OP has MOVED the ressie LATER to after 7pm,
and will watch Wishes from a location at the Floridian.

It is do-able as long as DME is a fast transaction upon arrival at the airport. When you get to your hotel, let them know that you have dinner res's somewhere and are in a hurry. I would leave any bags you have with bell services and not even bother going to your room. Go straight to dinner from there and deal with getting settled in the room afterwards. Fly in the clothes you plan to wear if you are able, and have anything you will need ready to run out the door to dinner. Good luck, hope you make your dinner!
