It depends on which meal you're going to be there for; lunch is not "all you care to eat" but I believe dinner is. The lunch and dinner menus are posted on Allears.net:
As to whether you'd like it or not, that entire depends on what types of food you normally like. My advice would be to take a look at the menus and see if anything appeals to you. From what I've read, the focus of the menu at CG is "California Fusion," while the focus of LTT is more "American Comfort".
We went to LTT for lunch a few years back (PP is correct, unless something has changed lunch was not all you can eat, dinner is). The food and service was good. The only reason we haven't been back is because we can get that type of food almost anywhere and Disney has so many different places to try.
This used to be one of our favorites, always a must do. We haven't been in many years. Last time we were disappointed in the meal.
I have been reading good things lately about the dinner since they stopped the Character Meal. I guess it's time to re-try LTT again. A lot of the bad reviews are from when they still did Character Meals, I think it was a hit or miss restaurant because of it popularity.
Everyone raves about Ohana's we've been 3 times, and I wanted to love it, but all three times we've gotten bad service and very dry meat. There are a couple of other restaurants here that get great reviews, yet we don't care for them. There are also restaurants that get bad reviews, yet we love them.
We went to LLT in May 2010 and it was our first time there. It is now one of my husbands favorite restaurants. We all enjoyed it....and after reading the reviews prior to going, I wasn't expecting much.
We are planning to go again on our next trip this year. I say try it.
I would say this depends on what you expect. Taste and milage will vary person to person.
This is always the first place we eat when head to WDW. It is the DW's second favorite restaurant and we like the idea of family style. After all, Family is why we are at Disney.
Hi to a fellow NH disney fan! We might be in the minority, but we do like LTT. I have never had a bad meal there. We do miss the characters there though...again we could be in the minority with this as well.
We enjoyed our meal there (dinner). But since they no longer have the characters, I don't see the value of the dinner. Its way overpriced for what you get without characters, in my opinion.
We went in December. DH liked it, I didn't. It could have just been what I ordered but I do not want to go back. We went for lunch and it was not a buffet or all you can eat for that time frame. I'm a picky eater though.
