Will I have trouble booking WL Villas

I haven't even closed on our WL DVC and I'm already planning my first trip. We are going to splurge and get a 2 bedroom to share with our good friends. We are looking at the week after Thanksgiving 2007. Will I have trouble getting this type of room at this time of year. Obviously, I will call 11 months out, Thanks.

You should be fine if you book exactly at the 11 month window. You might want to call daily and book each day individually. If you choose to do that, make sure you tell the CM you will be calling daily.

I did it this year and had absolutely no problem.

I'd call right at 11 months, early in the AM, and book day by day for a holiday reservation.

I agree with everyone here. You will be fine at the 11 mos. window. We used to book day by day for that time of year at VWL but dont anymore. But to be on the safe side and give peace of mind, do day by day.

I booked a 2 bdrm unit for the week after thanksgiving for this year and I booked it at 7months + one week and got the last 2-bdrm unit. Booking at 11 months should not be a problem...I would just not wait too much past 11 months.

This is the practice of calling 11 months out from the day after you plan on checking in. You book that one night and tell MS what you are doing. They can also advise you whether it looks like you'll need to book day by day or if there appears to be plenty of rooms available. If you continue to book day by day, you would call the next day and add one day to the reservation. You continue to do this until the reservation is complete.

Using this method, you get the 11 month booking advantage for every day of your reservation, rather than just for the last day. So it helps during the extremely busy times of the year. For most times of the year, it is not necessary.
